With the additions and outbuildings, a unique alpine ensemble emerged over time, a small village in the mountains. From the sun terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view of Austria‘s highest mountain, the Großglockner, and the Virger Nordkette. Open: Beginning/middle of June till the end of September (depends on the weather) Ascent: From the Virg district of Welzelach on the Almfahrweg via Mullitztal and Stadler Alm 3 hours, from the Wetterkreuz Hütte 3 ½ to 4 hours, also easily accessible for children and seniors. Huts nearby: via Bergertörl to Bergerseehütte 3 ½ h, via Prägratner Törl to Neuen Reichenbergerhütte 6 ½ h, along the Niedere Höhe to Lasnitzenhütte 3 ½ h.
